Armanitola Free Medical Camp May 2024

Armanitola Free Medical Camp

The Armenian Apostolic Church of the Holy Resurrection and the St. Paul Coptic Medical Services, an Egyptian Charitable Organization, collaborated to offer essential medical help and guidance today, May 16th  2024.    Local families who live in the area around the Armenian Church Dhaka were welcomed by the visiting doctors. Conditions that were treated were varied and included some dermatology, gynaecology and general medical issues, a total of 93 patients were treated.

We are very grateful to our friends from the Coptic Church Medical Service for giving up their time to hold this very essential service, and, once again, extend our warmest appreciation and thanks to the participating medical team, Dr Abanob Gad, Neurologist; Dr Mina Tharwat, Gynaecologist; Dr Aghapy Yohana, General physician; and Dr Mina Safwat, Laboratory consultant.

The Mr. Michael Martin Food Assistance Program – 10 January 2019

One of the initiatives undertaken by the Armenian Church in Dhaka is the ‘Mr. Michael Martin Food Assistance Program’. Today the program offered meals to 292 local Dhaka people. It also provided essential milk for 57 hungry babies.

The food assistance program initially ran on a monthly basis, but due to the local high demand for help, it has been offered on a weekly basis since the autumn of 2016.

The church is an intrinsically altruistic institution that will always strive to provide comfort and aid to its surrounding community and visitors.
